Adam Lambert Launches A Non-Profit In Support Of LGBT+ Rights
Adam Lambert launches a non-profit organisation named Feel Something Foundation who’s mission is “ to support LGBTQ+ organizations that are moving the needle for communities of all ages and backgrounds.”
The name of the organisation has a significant meaning to the singer as it is the first solo track the artist released in 2019. “This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs and opening my heart,” he had written of the song when it was released.
The foundation is set to work with charity “whose impact centers on important areas affecting the LGBTQ+ community, such as education and the arts, homelessness, suicide prevention and mental health,” as ‘Rolling Stone’ reports.
In a statement, the Feel Good Foundation also mentioned that it seeks to “abolish ‘coming out’ as a term used to define someone simply for being themselves.”
