From Vision to Impact: Celebrating Three Years of UKTV's Families Network

Starting with a vision in 2020, the Families Network for UKTV, spearheaded by Helen Taylor, Senior Business Analyst, and Cathy Sibbering and team, has evolved alongside a changing world. From navigating the challenges of lockdown to influencing business policies such as Equal Parental Leave, and expanding its embrace to BBC Studios colleagues, the journey has been eventful.

“The world has changed a lot since Cathy Sibbering and I set up the Families Network for UKTV back in 2020,” Helen posted on LinkedIn. "We’ve navigated lockdown, run numerous events, had input into the launch of Equal Parental Leave across the business and welcomed our BBC Studios colleagues into the Network. 
 
We celebrated our third birthday in the office yesterday with some beautiful cupcakes and a glass of fizz. 
 
This year sees Cathy and I passing on the reins to new co-chairs as we move into a Steering Committee role. We’re really excited to see where the Network will go next.
