1. Tell us about your role at lululemon and what you do?

I have the privilege of leading eight remarkable stores that make up the Greater Vancouver region. My role foundationally is to be a coach, mentor, advocate, and thought partner to my Store Managers in service of their store vision. In collaboration with them, I work to translate our organization’s priorities into a comprehensive strategy that addresses both market-specific and individual store needs. Together, we are constantly evolving and refining our business to support our ever-changing communities which allows us to see market growth.

The ‘how’ of this work is the true magic and where the love of my job lies - creating amazing experiences for our people, internally and externally. We prioritize building teams that advocate for the whole person, fostering a culture of continued development and learning, making strategic decisions with our guests in mind, and being fierce advocates for equity and inclusion.

2. What has been your proudest moment and/or project to date that you’ve worked on during your time at lululemon?

An amazing component of our retail organization is that regions take part in various programs to enhance our ways of working. This year, my team participated in a pilot program to enhance the way we support our guests in stores - making our team members more accessible on the sales floor, enhancing connection, and creating more opportunities for our guests’ needs to be met. My team acted with such integrity, agility, curiosity, and purpose. Their leadership showcased how dedicated they are to delivering excellence across all areas of our business.

3. What advice would you share with someone interested in joining one of your store teams?

Show up 100% authentically you. We want our stores to reflect the rich diversity of our communities. You being you reinforces this vision. In tandem with this, consider if you love helping guests find products that allows them to feel their best, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. If so, this may be the place for you!

4. What is a goal you are working towards, either in your career or outside of it?

I am constantly working towards building a fulfilling and balanced life where both my career and personal life align. I aspire to be fully present in each moment and to be able to enjoy life’s gifts of growth, adventure, learning, peace, movement, and joy. My goal in practicing conscious mindfulness is to be able to show up as the best version of myself for my family and team which allows me to be proud of how I choose to navigate through life.

5. What excites you the most about working for lululemon?

That I get to be a part of building our future. Our core value of personal responsibility reinforces a very important narrative - each of us plays an integral part in achieving our BIG goals. This framework is so empowering. I am empowered by our organization to build a better future for my team. I am empowered by my leaders to build a better future for our guests. I am empowered by my peers to build a better future for each other. Each of us creates the future and there is so much power in this sentiment.
