February marks LGBTQ+ History Month across the UK and 2022 is even more special as it marks the 50th anniversary of the very first Pride march in the UK in 1972. LGBTQ+ history is incredibly important to remember, not only so that we can learn about the discrimination of the past, but also so that we can celebrate the progress our community has made!

MEET DR. ERIC CERVINI
Dr. Eric Cervini is an award-winning historian of LGBTQ+ politics. His first book, The Deviant’s War, was a New York Times bestseller and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Cervini graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and
was a Gates Scholar at the University of Cambridge, where he received his PhD.
