lululemon Launches Third Impact Report

lululemon today released its third annual Impact Report, detailing progress and learnings across multi-year strategies and commitments to advance the wellbeing of people and the planet.

Central to the Company’s Power of Three ×2 growth plan, lululemon’s Impact Agenda is grounded in the understanding that the wellbeing of people and the planet are interconnected. The Company’s holistic approach to creating positive impact comes to life across lululemon’s three pillars of Be Human, Be Well, and Be Planet.

“I am proud of the meaningful progress we have made at lululemon and across our communities, as we continue to accelerate our efforts to achieve our Impact Agenda goals,” said Calvin McDonald, Chief Executive Officer. “lululemon has a distinct opportunity and responsibility to continue to lead with our purpose, and I am inspired by our team’s shared passion and commitment in our journey to advance wellbeing, and create lasting change, for all.”

Since 2020, lululemon has been advancing its Impact Agenda goals. The 2022 Impact Report reveals continued progress and momentum and points to areas that require further acceleration. Above all, lululemon is committed to acting with urgency, while taking a thoughtful approach.

“As our business grows, so does our pursuit to scale our positive impact across the globe. While the potential of people is limitless, the resources of our planet are not. And that is where possibility lies—where people and communities innovate together to create collective action,” said Esther Speck, Senior Vice President, Sustainable Business and Impact.

Climate action is a critical area the Company is committed to accelerating in order to meet its science-based targets, with a focus on decarbonizing its supply chain. To do that, the Company will continue to partner with its suppliers and industry coalitions to advance energy efficiency and accelerate the transition to renewable energy. On lululemon’s journey to become a net-zero company by 2050, progress will continue to be driven through innovation and collective action to create a healthier future.
