Nigel Farage Wants to Ban Immigrants Who Are Living With HIV
Controversial Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has stood by comments he made in 2014 that the UK should ban people living HIV from entering the country.
At the time when asked what kind of people should be allowed to immigrate to the UK he said, “People who do not have HIV, to be frank. That’s a good start.”
In an interview last Sunday with Andrew Marr he has asked “Do you still feel that people with HIV shouldn’t be allowed into this country?”
“Do I think the National Health Service is there for British people? Yes, I absolutely do.”
Farage’s Brexit Party has a torrid history with LGBT+ rights, with several of their candidates critical of LGBT+ inclusive programs in schools, calling it a “fetishisation of diversity.”
