Queen Latifah Says She Will Believe Jussie Smollett Until There is Proof Otherwise

Queen Latifah spoke with Yahoo News about her friend Jussie Smollett and his recently alleged faked hate crime.

“Until somebody can show me some proof otherwise, I’m going with him,” she said.

“The guy I’ve seen has always been someone who cares about people, who cares about others, and who’s very kind and who’s always been cool and sweet, and that’s just the guy I know.

“Until I can see some definitive proof, which I haven’t seen yet… then, you know, I gotta go with him until I see otherwise.”

Smollett claimed to have been attacked by two assailants last month who poured bleach on him and said “This is MAGA country,” in a reference to Trump’s infamous campaign slogan. They then allegedly put a noose around his neck.

However, new reports have emerged that the actor orchestrated the attack to garner media attention, so he could ask for a pay rise on his TV series.

He now faces three years in prison and over $25,000 in fines, if found guilty.
