Vertex Pharmaceuticals Celebrates Pride in London

Biopharmaceutical company Vertex Pharmaceuticals celebrated their support for the LGBTQ+ community at the 2023 London Pride event this July.

The march, which took place on July 1, saw over 32,000 LGBTQ+ individuals and allies celebrate march alongside the community in honor of achieving authentic equality and true freedom. The team at Vertex Pharmaceuticals were right alongside them, showing their support with Pride flags across the community.

Sharing images of their celebration on LinkedIn, they posted a caption describing the experience and displaying vocal support for LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality worldwide.

“Uniting with people who share our passion for driving positive change was inspiring and uplifting – thanks to all those who marched alongside us in person and virtually as we strive for better inclusion, diversity and equality across the globe. #NeverMarchAlone”

Earlier this month also saw the team at Vertex Pharmaceuticals attend another Pride event, this time in honor of the 20th anniversary of Oxford Pride Group. Posting photographs of their celebratory day out, they revealed why they chose to march with Oxford Pride Group for the first time.

“This year marks the 20th anniversary for Oxford Pride Group Ltd, so it was an honor for our Vertexians to attend for the first time and support ‘one of the biggest small Prides’, volunteering to support the community around us as they march to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and amplify their voices to campaign for equity and justice in the UK and around the world.”
