Victoria’s Secret Launches Diverse Campaign Starring Trans, Plus-Size And Older Models
Victoria’s secret is making a shift from exclusively young, thin and cis models and is now launching a campaign that includes trans, plus-size and older models.
The new spring campaign, Body by Victoria, is clearly more diverse than previous campaigns. The campaign includes stars such as original angels Daniela Pestova, 49, and Helena Christensen, 51, and Valentina Sampaio, the company’s first openly trans model.

Also featured in the new ads are plus-size models Candice Huffine and Solange van Doors, while models Barbara Palvin, Jasmine Tookes, Joan Smalls, Lais Ribiero and Romee Strijd round out the campaign’s cast.
Recently, Victoria’s secret announced a change in management with CEO Les Wexner and CMO Ed Razek no longer part of the company. At the same time, Victoria’s Secret has a new casting strategy in place and it remains to be seen whether these changes will “win back the brand’s fans”, according to ‘Page Six’.
