Watch The Trailer For Russell T Davies’s New Gay Drama ‘It’s A Sin’
Channel 4 has released a trailer for Russell T Davies’s new gay drama ‘It’s A Sin’ staring Olly Alexander and Neil Patrick Harris.
As ‘Media Mole’ reports, Stephen Fry and Keeley Hawes also appear in the show which is set in the 1980s amid the backdrop of the AIDS epidemic. The series follows a trio of friends who move to London and will cover the whole decade, telling the story of their friendships and love stories and how they deal with the AIDS crisis.
Originally called ‘Boys’, the five-part series comes from Russell T Davies, known for ‘Queer As Folk’, ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Cucumber’, and will air on Channel 4 early next year.
“I lived through those times, and it's taken me decades to build up to this,” said Davies. “And as time marches on, there's a danger the story will be forgotten.
“So it's an honour to write this for the ones we lost, and the ones who survived.”
