About Currys

As the UK's best-known retailer in tech, we help everyone to enjoy amazing technology. We sell it, deliver it, install it and support it, bringing a human touch to make magic happen.

Through progress and innovation, we have transformed our brand, integrating stores, online and mobile to create a seamless customer experience. Today, Currys is a true omnichannel business, with a vast operation spanning the UK and Ireland, Hong Kong, Greece and the Nordics.

We're proud of the 30,000+ capable and committed colleagues who go the extra mile for customers. That's why we're creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, complete with supportive diversity networks and hybrid working where possible. Put simply, we're creating an open, inspiring, empowering place to work. A place where colleagues can realise their ambitions as well as ours.

Working at Currys

At Currys, we believe in learning, growing and celebrating wins together. In a business of our size and aspirations, there is room to grow in so many directions. You're free to learn on your terms, acquiring role-specific skills, skills for life and even accredited qualifications. With our adaptable, blended approach, there are no dull days in the classroom! We also offer rewards and benefits that go deeper than just the day-to-day. Our healthcare, life assurance, pension and bonus plan are highly valued by the team, as are our retail discounts. But what really makes the difference is a culture that supports wellbeing on a physical, mental and financial level. We've invested in a Wellbeing portal and apps, an Employee Assistance Programme, and Mental Health First Aiders. We also offer a hybrid working model for suitable roles. In this supportive, flexible workplace, our team are free to live our values: we win together, we own it and we put our customers first.

Diversity & Inclusion

We're 30,000+ colleagues from different backgrounds, experiences, ethnicities, disabilities, sexualities and genders. Every voice has a space at our table, and we encourage colleagues to engage with our range of diversity networks and forums to keep important conversations moving in the right direction. Meanwhile, our Leadership Inclusion Forum drives inclusion and diversity within the business. Being an inclusive company where diversity is seen as a strength and everyone can belong plays a fundamental role in our business success.

We celebrate diversity through regular calendar events like Black History Month, National Inclusion Week and International Women's Day. And we promote inclusion by ensuring all colleagues understand, live and breathe our commitment to Dignity at Work through our policies and training, supported by our annual Inclusion and Belonging Survey to help measure how we are doing.

About your LGBTQ+ / Inclusion Network

Our LGBTQ+ network is called Pride at Currys. It brings members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies together from right across the business. Today, Pride at Currys is more active than ever, and has driven a string of exciting changes. These range from celebrating Manchester Pride and adding pronoun options to name badges, to changing uniform policy so each colleague can choose a feminine or masculine uniform. Pride at Currys has also supported the development of our new Gender Reassignment policy and the introduction of core modules on our training platform 'MyLearning' around equality, diversity and inclusion in the workforce. The next step is an LGBTQ+ Charter of Rights, protecting colleagues from discrimination and ensuring there are no barriers to accessing employment or support.

“Since its launch, the Pride network has hugely championed inclusivity across all areas of Curry's, supporting a new inclusive uniform and uniform policy, name badges where colleagues can add their pronouns, and so much more.”

Stephen Evans, Store Communications And Response Manager - Joint Committee Chair
