Our Values

Hearst people are challengers, disruptors, innovators, strategists, logic whizzes and creatives.

We unearth opportunity and explore new territory, harnessing the trust that we've built with consumers to progress our business and our brands. We are changing the way people perceive and experience media brands by delivering the most premium experiences, content, journalism and advice in dynamic and inspiring ways.

These five values define our commitment to our customers and to each other.

More Diversity, More Belonging

You Belong At Hearst – Our Commitment To Diversity And Inclusion

'Our voices and our ideas are what makes Hearst and the products we create unique. Creating an environment where everyone feels they truly belong enables us to do our best work, and that's the culture we are striving to build here at Hearst.'

With a diverse team, we can take on challenges together, building on the strength of different perspectives.

Our goal is to progress our content, products and services to reflect the diversity of lives and experiences of people across the UK. We believe our future success is dependent on having a team of people from different backgrounds, with varied and unique identities and mindsets, who've had different experiences in life.

Hearst Pride UK

Hearst Pride UK, our affinity group for LGBTQ+ employees and our allies, works to foster a safe and inclusive working environment at Hearst UK. We highlight and promote inclusive stories from our brands, and support the LGBTQ+ community at large through social outreach and internal education. Our goal is to celebrate the full spectrum of sexual and gender identity while amplifying marginalised voices within the queer community.

Why I Am Proud To Be Part of Hearst Pride UK

Employee Stories I Thom Geraghty, Digital Marketing Director

“As ‘Get Involved’ is a cornerstone value here at Hearst UK, taking an active role with Hearst Pride UK has not only helped me feel a part of something larger than myself but it’s allowed me to advocate for the community in a way that I know makes a difference. I love learning about and sharing our history and meeting so many different ‘shades’ within our collective rainbow. And while I’ve been out for a while, my participation in the network has encouraged me to use my voice in a way that makes me feel not only authentic but empowered.”
