ABOUT JPMORGAN CHASE
For over 200 years, JPMorgan Chase & Co. has provided innovative financial solutions for consumers, small businesses, corporations, governments, and institutions around the world.
Today, we're a leading global financial services firm with operations servicing clients in more than 100 countries.
Whether we are serving customers, helping small businesses, or putting our skills to work with partners, we strive to identify issues and propose solutions that will propel the future and strengthen both our clients and our communities.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION
JPMorgan Chase is working to drive a diverse and inclusive culture for our employees and our business. Everything has to start at home – leaving no stone unturned, we’re looking at our diverse recruiting practices, training, our products and services, and supplier diversity.
People are our most important asset. The long-term growth and success of JPMorgan Chase depends on our ability to attract and retain our employees. Maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive is not only the smart thing to do – it’s the right thing to do.
JPMorgan Chase established seven DEI Centers of Excellence to take a unified and intersectional approach to delivering impact for employees, clients, customers and the communities we serve: Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs, Advancing Black Pathways, Women on the Move, Military and Veterans Affairs, Office of Disability Inclusion, Advancing Hispanics & Latinos, Office of Asian & Pacific Islander Affairs.
The Centers of Excellence collaborate across their respective efforts to reflect the intersectionality of the different communities they represent. In addition to coordinating programs and initiatives to strengthen our internal culture of inclusion and raise the visibility of their communities, the Centers of Excellence amplify our lines of business’ work to deliver inclusive products, services and advice for clients and customers. They also work with a wide array of local and national organizations in the communities we serve.
WHERE YOU CAN STAND PROUD
JPMorgan Chase has long been a supporter of equality in all forms, including for the LGBTQ+ community. We have earned a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for 20 consecutive years. JPMorgan Chase is the only financial services company to receive a perfect score for each consecutive year since the benchmarking survey began.
Starting with our very first PRIDE business resource group in 1996, we recently strengthened our commitment by creating the Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs – a full-time, dedicated team to deliver on our global LGBTQ+ agenda.
The Office of LGBTQ+ Affairs partners closely with stakeholders across the firm to promote intersectionality and leverage our combined resources to deliver equity and inclusion for LGBTQ+ employees, clients, partners, and communities, worldwide.
Brad Baumoel, global head of LGBTQ+ Affairs, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
“I am proud of the support that JPMorgan Chase has provided to the LGBTQ+ community, as well as our amazing culture of inclusion. JPMorgan Chase is a place where you can advance, thrive and reach your personal and professional goals.”
