Our colleague networks
Open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community and spectrum (and their allies), our colleague's LGBTQ+ network promotes equality, celebrates inclusivity and diversity, and encourages everyone to be themselves – whatever their sexual or gender identity. The network hosts a Teams group, with safe spaces for supportive conversations, together with a number of events, celebrations and talking points throughout the year.
Our LGBTQ+ network is part of a broader group of eight colleague networks supporting gender equality, culture & heritage, disability, family & carers, those affected by cancer, veterans and the menopause & women’s health. Started by our people, for our people and supported by our central Inclusion & Diversity team, they also amplify the colleagues voice, helping us understand the experiences of our colleagues and identify opportunities to drive progress together. However you identify, our networks are open and welcoming to all, including champions, allies and supporters.
We’re here for everybody who feels passionate about making M&S a place where all LGBTQ+ people feel they belong. We also know that people perform better (and, more importantly, are happier!) when they can bring their whole selves to work.
