Forty Years of Firsts: Bank of America Is Hiring in Dublin and Across EMEA

August 11, 2026

Dublin’s financial services sector keeps growing, and Bank of America — a myGwork partner with live roles across our platform — is hiring there now, including a Credit Analyst position in the Subsidiary Lending Group in Dublin.

An LGBT+ history that predates most corporate policies

Plenty of employers can point to a Pride float. Bank of America’s LGBT+ history goes considerably deeper, and it is worth reading in order:

In the 1980s, the bank established what are believed to be the first HR policies for managing AIDS in the workplace — at a moment when most institutions were doing the opposite. In the early 1990s, it formed the first Gay and Lesbian employee resource group. It was the first financial institution to offer comprehensive domestic partner benefits. In 2015, it established an LGBT+ Executive Leadership Council made up of out LGBT+ executives worldwide, focused on developing, retaining and recruiting diverse executive talent.

Today the LGBT+ Pride Ally Program spans more than 45 chapters globally with over 30,000 allies and out-at-work teammates. The bank was ranked 28th in Stonewall’s 2020 Top 100 Employers list in the UK, climbing 22 places on the previous year in the most competitive field yet.

For colleagues navigating gender transition, the bank’s specialised Life Event Services team provides personalised support — resources, benefits and counselling — and can connect teammates directly with other transgender colleagues who have volunteered to offer guidance.

Where the jobs are

  • Dublin, Ireland — credit analysis, lending and financial services roles in a fast-growing European hub
  • Across EMEA — London, Paris, Frankfurt and Zurich, where the bank has participated in City Pride events alongside Dublin, Chester and Johannesburg
  • Global scale — a 200,000-strong workforce in more than 35 countries, serving 66 million customers
