Some companies talk about being international. At Wise, almost half of employees work in a country that isn’t their nationality, and 125 nationalities are represented across the business. For LGBTQ+ professionals who have ever considered building a career somewhere new, that statistic says more than a values page could. Wise, a myGwork partner, has more than 400 live roles on our platform.
Wise runs 12 global Wise Communities — employee resource groups spanning identities and experiences from the Black Wisers Network and Disability at Wise to Mental Health Wise, Parents and Carers, and WiseWomen in Engineering.
QueerWise is the LGBTQIA+ community: a global network with four regional chapters, providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and questioning Wisers to share, support and connect. It holds regular spaces for discussion and friendship, runs Global QueerWise Socials twice a year across multiple offices, and marched with allies at the Baltic Pride parade in Tallinn.
The commitments extend into concrete policy. Wise launched training for its Customer Support and Operational teams on vulnerable customers and trans/non-binary customer inclusion. It signed the Human Rights Campaign National Business Statement on Anti-LGBTQ+ State Legislation alongside 500+ US companies. And as part of its extended US healthcare, it partners with FOLX Health, a virtual healthcare provider dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community.
When Wise asked in its most recent employee engagement survey whether people from all backgrounds are accepted for who they are, it scored in the top 5% of the tech company benchmark.
