Body Of Missing Trans In El Salvador Has Been Found
Trans activist Jade Camila Diaz, aged 27, had gone missing. Authorities in El Salvador now confirm they have found her body in the northeast of the country.
"We regret to inform you that Jade Diaz's body was found in the waters of the Torola River," the Attorney General's Office (FGR) tweeted.
Her body was found with her "hands tied and weighted with a bag of stones," said Bianka Rodriguez, president of Comcavis Trans.
Diaz is the second trans woman killed in the country in the past 15 days. In 2019 at least seven LGBT+ related murders have been recorded in the country, ‘France 24’ reports.
