Our Technology Consulting teams at EY in Wellington and Auckland are seeking people who want to be part of something bigger. Our EY Cyber team works with leading organisations in the public and private sector to translate uncertainty into confidence. You will help clients with varying levels of cyber maturity through their entire journey, from assessing and advising, designing and building transformation programmes and specific security solutions, to implementing and managing security solutions, often alongside selected market leading vendors.

Your key responsibilities

You'll already be experienced and have the knowledge and capability to help clients in increasingly important areas. As businesses are having to change and adapt to emerging technology, so is EY. The key responsibilities will further include the following:
  • Support with the planning and implementation of EY Identity and other cyber related engagements as may be required
  • Assisting in the design and delivery of project scope, goals and outcomes for allocated projects, either individually or as part of a team, helping the organisation understand advanced solutions and / or services. This may include assisting with the implementation of software solutions to deliver business value to the client ensuring all functionality is clearly aligned to the defined requirements
  • Optimising and executing EY methodologies for the delivery of project outcomes, ensuring the use of agreed methodologies and documentation to gather, interpret and define project requirements
  • Maintaining a high level of satisfaction in existing customer accounts, ensuring the key internal and external working relationships are formed and maintained
  • Assisting in identifying opportunities for improvement of EY processes and implementation approaches
  • Maximising opportunities within allocated customers for continued EY interaction
  • Adherence to all relevant policies, standards and best practices
A Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is highly advantageous although we will consider candidate working in cyber security roles who have prior consulting experience. A broad background across security is expected with some specific experience some of the key cyber areas.

Skills and attributes for success
  • Detailed knowledge of Identity Management and Privileged Access Management including Enterprise-Level knowledge of one or more identity product suites: One Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ, Microsoft Identity Manager, CA Identity Suite, Tivoli Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Manager, CyberArk, OKTA
  • Sound knowledge of Enterprise IT systems
  • Sound understanding of test methodologies
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle in an agile environment
  • Consulting expertise with end to end project delivery: analysis, design implementation, testing and documentation of enterprise software solutions
  • Understanding of project management and change management approaches and the implementation thereof
  • Project requirements gathering, validation and management, creation of use cases to ensure the ability to functionally validate requirements
  • Ability to manage priorities and time effectively
  • Manage and support project teams to deploy large scale software solutions
  • A strong team player with the maturity to work autonomously as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Sound understanding of relevant online/web technologies
  • Proven high level of interpersonal and relationship building skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
