About The Team

The Lean IT team provides process optimization and intake for the automation teams at FIS. This team is expanding to support our strategic initiative to increase service quality, enrich our customer's experience, improve our cost efficiency and create value for our employees. We are looking for talented resources to be a part of this dynamic, fast-paced team driving change across FIS.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be an entry-level professional utilizing your Lean/Six Sigma skills with high levels of analytical and problem-solving abilities. To be successful in this role, you will need to be interested in process re-engineering/digitalization and project management-the ability to distill complexity into value stream maps and find opportunities for efficiencies to review with the manager. You will be participating in large process re-engineering projects with significant stakeholder interaction (25+), self-starter, self-managed, motivated by goals, and has the ability to learn Lean Six Sigma methodologies. You will be working independently with latitude for independent judgment.
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects using Value-Stream mapping, DMAIC, DFSS, and statistical tools
  • Learn the application of Lean Six Sigma tools, analytical techniques, and methods
  • Work with Platform Champions, Team Leads, and Process Owners to select improvement initiatives and projects as directed by the team lead.
  • Actively participate in projects aimed at improving process efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the success of activities assigned as part of end-to-end process improvement initiatives across our development and technology organization
  • Suggest measurement plans for key performance indicators (KPIs) and execute control plans to monitor, track and improve using KPIsas directed by the team lead
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis and calculate the saving returns of each project in close partnership with the relevant development and technology teams and support of team lead
  • Work closely with members of business and support organizations to jointly improve on relevant KPIs and recommendnew solutions or processes into ongoing operations.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree from job discipline, i.e. Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related degree
  • Background in studying and doing assignments related to Value-Stream Mapping, Lean Six Sigma, Lean IT methodologies, practices, approach, and toolsets
  • Interested in being a Certified Lean Champion, Six Sigma Black Belt ITIL/COBIT
  • Ability to lead, manage and sustain assignments
  • Ability to learn how to use systematic data-driven methods to assess, analyze, identify, and solve problems by suggesting improvements through processes automation (RPA)
  • Basic understanding of IT governance, application development, application processing, application monitoring tools, and IT infrastructure/data-center operations processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation & management skills

Added Bonus If You Have
  • Engineering / University degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge and technical ability in demonstrating Six Sigma methodology principles and practices across an entire value-stream (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of unstructured and exploratory data analysis using statistical tools like R Studio, Minitab, SPSS, MATLAB, etc. (not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure & application management tools (Splunk, SCAPM, Netcool, CA Spectrum, ServiceNow, etc.) preferred
  • Process automation and RPA tools (like Resolve Systems, MS Power Automate, UIPath, Work Fusion, Automation Anywhere, Pegasystems, NICE, etc.) preferred
