As a 2021 FIS University Program full-time employee with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January and June with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:
  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
  • Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

About The Team

Our teams are composed of industry and markets-experts who support our trading and compliance solutions within the Capital Markets segment. Our operations are 24/7 though our greatest focus is on clients' needs during the US trading day. We are a real-time offering, so our team is tasked with intraday resolution of complex issues that are centred around trading and compliance activities for sell-side brokers and institutions. Our talented staff supports all aspects of the trade life cycle including pre- and post-trade pricing, position and risk management, overall trade execution, and reporting to US-regulatory bodies. We provide a stable framework to help our clients meet their fiduciary obligations while also improving their competitive advantage in the marketplace.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Utilizing a state-of-the-art CRM to answer client support inquiries and bring issues to resolution
  • Ensuring timely responses to clients by working across internal teams
  • Making product recommendations to clients for both future and existing functionality
  • Suggesting, and ultimately working with sales and implementations teams to sell tailored solutions that address challenging product workflows

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added Bonus If You Have
  • Existing equities markets experience and/or the desire to learn the subject matter from that space
  • A team mentality and approach towards problem solving
  • A genuine interest in software architecture and financial technology
  • A Client Services mindset and the interpersonal skills to advocate internally for our client base
