The Role
Client Services Specialist - Pooling
Responsible for providing timely, accurate technical assistance and direct account service to clients and the internal service team.  Must be able to assume responsibility for coordination and servicing accounts under the minimum supervision of a Sr. Specialist.

  • Provide technical account service to clients and the internal service team
  • Maintain client service standards, maintain and build client relationships
  • Develop custom analytical reports and provide technical assistance with rating and underwriting platforms
  • Handle renewal process for existing accounts, working with carriers and clients
  • Maintain files for accounts including writing account summaries, compiling, calculating and coding data, managing information and ensuring profitability
  • Resolve customer inquiries and problems pertaining to insurance products and services
  • Role requires travel up to 2 times per month including occasional overnight/out of town travel (Employee Safety comes first, travel will resume once it is deemed safe and COVID cases are down)

The Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years property/casualty insurance industry experience required
  • Property and Casualty Producers license required, or ability to obtain license within 4 months of start date
  • Bachelors’ degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Technical and analytical skill set
  • Account management and or underwriting experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of insurance brokerage and/or insurance company practices 
  • Knowledge of principles and processes of business management
  • Personal Computer skills with expert level Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building skills with clients, co-workers and third parties
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to establish and maintain working relationships
