Technology Inside Sales

Inside Sales Representatives will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. As an Inside Sales Rep you will work with clients to ensure a smooth sales process. You will develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current clients, demonstrate excellent client services and professionalism in all dealings with clients. Inside Sales Representatives use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of our product and services. Inside sales representatives are often expected to complete the following duties:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the client
  • Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates

Responsibilities for Inside Sales Representative

  • Develops sales opportunities by researching accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and working with Sales Ops preparing quotations
  • Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions as required in conjunction with the extended Account Team
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quota while increasing client satisfaction
  • Create personal Sales/Marketing/Territory plan
  • Responsible for product knowledge to answer client questions
  • Maintain lead and client information in CIS (or other CRM solution)
  • Use excellent oral communication and best practices in client service when interacting with clients
  • Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Report market insights to Technology Sales leadership and Product Management

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years in an outreach sales environment
  • Proven ability to exceed quota year over year
  • Software and insurance background preferred
  • Relationship / People / Client relations skills

  • Technical sales and closing skills
  • Expert handling sales tools (CRM software and other common software tools - Power Point, Word, Outlook and Excel)
