LGBTQ+ rights, Pride & the opposition in Eastern Europe

Proud FT will host a panel discussion on LGBTQ+ rights, activism and the opposition in Eastern Europe. This is the outset of a hopefully extensive collaboration with colleagues in our Sofia tech hub, and will address the legal, political and cultural situation for advocates of queer liberation in the region.

This panel will be looking at the current legal and political state of play, as well as best practice for activists and the role of business in advancing LGBTQ+ rights. Through this conversation we aim to spotlight the crucial work of human rights advocates on the front line of the struggle against bigotry and discrimination in Europe.
