The Crown’s Emma Corrin Shares New Pronouns & Opens Up About Gender Journey

After coming out as queer in April, actor Emma Corrin – who played Princess Diana on the Netflix series The Crown – is further opening up about their identity.

On Instagram this week, Corrin posted powerful and intimate black and white photos of themself wearing a homemade chest binder.

“Some time before I bought my first binder,” they wrote. “Messing around with @sirdavidsimon, we used boxing wrap, thanks for capturing this with me, very intimate, very new, very cool. It’s all a journey right. Lots of twists and turns and change and that’s ok! Embrace it.”

Corrin, who recently won a Golden Globe for their work on The Crown, then shouted out the binder company they now use, gc2b.Fans also excitedly noticed that Corrin updated the pronouns in their Instagram bio to she/they.

As ‘LGBTQ Nations’ writes, Corrin appeared to come out as queer in an earlier Instagram post on April 7. They posted a photo of themself in a wedding dress from a Pop Magazine photo shoot and captioned it, “ur fave queer bride.” While they did not expand beyond that, many fans celebrated the post as a coming out moment.
