‘The Young And The Restless’ Star Camryn Grimes Comes Out As Bisexual
‘The Young and the Restless’ star Camryn Grimes has come out as bisexual. Her character, Mariah Copeland, is in a lesbian relationship in the CBS drama and while the actress was speaking about another role she would like to play, the actress turned to Twitter to share her truth.
As ‘Metro’ reports, Camryn expressed her desire to play Batwoman on CW’s Batwoman.
The actress tweeted: “Can I be the next @CWBatwoman??”
And when one fan replied: “As AMAZING as this would be and as much as I support this idea, I think they’re looking for an out LGBT actress for the role.”
Camryn stated: “I’m bisexual.”
Another fan wrote: “You have to be at least this [amount of] bi to ride that ride.”
And Camryn stated: “Good thing I am then!”
When another fan asked if she had just come out, the actress responded: “Yea, pretty sure I did.”
Grimes later explained that she had come to terms with her sexuality earlier, by talking with her friends. “‘Honestly feel stupid I didn’t come to the conclusion sooner,” she stated.
