Gay Sports Announcer Nick Heath Narrating Everyday Activities Has Gone Viral

Nick Heath is one of the many people that have a little extra time in their hands during these times where every major sporting event around the world has either been canceled or suspended. Heath, who is publicly out, is a sports commentator and journalist who covers athletes and sports around the world. And even in these hard times he has found a way to do what he loves.

Instead of describing actions happening in the field, he has started to comment on everyday activities, in a series of videos known as #LifeCommentary/#LiveCommentary, according to ‘LGBTQ Nation’.

Everyday activities include dogs chasing each other, a woman crossing the street and many more.

His videos are starting to go viral and his twitter followers rose by 82,000 in just a week, with him reaching 122,000 followers on Twitter and 45,000 on Instagram.

In a recent interview, Health said he saw this as “a chance for me to go out and have a bit of fun.”

“I’ve sort of referred to it a little bit as almost being the placebo for real sports because sport for me is as much about the sound of it, the look of it, the feel of it as the action itself,” said. “So I think if you can embody the sound of it to a degree, then you’re almost scratching the itch for some people.”
