Student Comes Out During Taylor Swift Lip Sync

A student at George Fox University in Portland, Oregon comes out to his Christian college while lip-syncing to Taylor Swift’s ally anthem “You Need To Calm Down”.

While performing on stage and syncing to the lyric “shade never made anybody less gay”, his backup dancers pulled off his hoody and revealed a shirt with a pride flag fringe attached to it.

Reid Arthur impressed the judges and was crowned champion of the lip sync battle and was awarded a $500 prize. Arthur donated his winnings to the Trevor Project, according to “Out”.
