A fun evening celebrating WorkFair and speed networking was had by all as guests took in the stunning panoramic views of London life through the glass walls and floors, while sipping on their drinks in one of the city’s most defining landmarks.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended WorkFair 2023 and our networking event, including all corporate and community partners, as well as all the sponsors and hosts of this year's panels, once again supporting our vision and mission, to create inclusive workplaces for all,” stated myGwork’s co-founders Adrien and Pierre Gaubert. “It was amazing to see so many of our clients and supporters come to celebrate WorkFair’s success with us.”

Commenting on the success of this year’s WorkFair during the event, Raytheon UK’s John Dickenson, shared why he thought it was important for organizations to support these events: “This is such a great opportunity to connect with LGBTQ+ talent and help showcase some of the career options that are available across lots of different sectors. It's been great to be here today and meet so many different people from lots of different organizations.”

Reckitt’s Rakshet Sachdev agreed: “I think connecting with new graduates gives us a fresh perspective on what's happening in the world, what's happening to society, because once you enter the workforce, work basically becomes your life. So participating in WorkFair really was important to find out what new graduates wanted to get out of big companies like Reckitt.”

Many other corporate partners, shared their thoughts on this year’s event, including Thomas International’s Liz Daly: “It was such an honor to join myGwork’s WorkFair panel on the Future Trends in the Workplace. It was great to be able to have an open conversation about the challenges we are all experiencing and those ahead of us.”

J.P. Morgan Chase’s Will Mahood, added: “It was a pleasure to talk about our approach to recruiting early career talent, what fuels J.P. Morgan's inclusive culture and the resources and opportunities available to LGBTQ+ employees alongside my colleagues at myGwork’s virtual WorkFair 2023, where we connected with LGBTQ+ students who are interested in pursuing careers within financial services.”

Paul Casey at HCA Healthcare UK, said he was “incredibly excited” and “privileged” to be part of this year’s WorkFair: “Attracting talent and effective hiring has always been relevant, but even more so in today increasingly competitive market. Thanks to myGwork for extending the invite and for organizing WorkFair.”

Finally, myGwork would like to congratulate Tarmizi Eliaes from Scotland as the winner of this year’s prize – a luxury countryside getaway for two the charming countryside retreat at Coworth Park in Ascot, Berkshire, including an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast, thanks to Dorchester Collection.
